Why Trending Upward Together?
Throughout the Bible, we see that God cares deeply for each of us and wants to be part of our lives and our world. At Yuma Central SDA Church, we believe this should shape how we live and worship.
Trending Upward Together is more than a motto—it’s our commitment to growing closer to Jesus and lifting each other higher in faith, hope, and love. We’re a growing family, and there is always room for all.

What We Believe
We’re a community of Christians who belong to a mainstream Protestant denomination that believes all our teachings should come from the Bible alone. One of our favorite sayings is, “Let the Bible define the Bible.”
We deeply value history for understanding how God has led His church and how prophecy points us forward. But we’re also a forward-looking people, filled with hope as we wait for the soon return of Jesus, who promised to take us home (John 14:1-3).
We believe that life is sacred and that everything in the natural world reflects the creativity and love of our Creator. We honor God’s gift of creation by keeping the seventh-day Sabbath—a special day of rest and worship that reminds us of God’s power, love, and desire for us to spend time with Him. We believe the Sabbath is a blessing meant for everyone to enjoy.
